Various levels of membership are available (see below) and all of the dollars from your membership stay with Houston Audubon to support its membership services and conservation programs.
Included in your membership is a subscription to our bimonthly newsletter, The Naturalist. Local members also receive discounts to certain activities and the ability to participate in members-only events.

Membership in both Houston Audubon and National Audubon Society
If you live in Houston or surrounding counties, you can join National Audubon Society (NAS), which then assigns you to Houston Audubon Society. This kind of membership makes you eligible for many of the programs and services offered by Houston Audubon, including one issue annually of The Naturalist newsletter. However, only a small part of the membership fee you pay to NAS comes to Houston Audubon. Please consider joining both Houston Audubon and NAS by paying two separate membership fees. That way you support NAS in its lobbying efforts at the national level, and you support Houston Audubon and all of its conservation programs and membership services at the local level.

Young Professionals - The Night Owls
Houston Audubon is proud to announce the creation of its young professionals conservation group, The Night Owls, a new membership group dedicated to the protection and conservation of birds and wildlife habitat. For forty years, Houston Audubon has been a leader in environmental education, habitat restoration, and conservation advocacy. We invite all area young professionals to join us in protecting Houston's amazing biodiversity.
Membership Benefits: Houston Audubon membership, discounts to Houston Audubon social events, exclusive Night Owls social and happy hour events, quarterly Night Owls email updates, networking opportunities with Houston's young professionals, and conservation and protection of Houston's birds, wildlife, and native habitat.
