Birdathon 2012 runs from March 24 through May 6 with reports and pledges due May 9.
What is Birdathon? Birdathon is a fun way to raise conservation and education funds for Houston Audubon. Birdathon teams gather pledges from family and friends for the number of bird species the team observes over any 24 hour period. Teams can visit many locations or sit in one spot during their 24 hour period.
A fun way to be introduced to Birdathon or hone your birding skills is to join one of the guided teams. Our favorite local guides will lead teams in an adventurous birding day.
Sign up your team now! Check the site frequently for details on prizes, rules, and helpful tips. We will be updating the site frequently with new teams and prize lists.
The 2012 Birdathon Committee (Pam Smolen, Cindy Bartos, Juanita Perkins, Judith Schott, and Andi Ritchie) thanks you for your support!
