September 15: Bill Duke
Bill Duke will share his practical experiences with setting up bird perches and will show some resulting photos. He has done extensive R&D on a portable avian photo scene kit or what he calls APS that he will demonstrate at the September 15th HANPA program.
About the Photographer: Bill is a native Texan who enjoys the outdoors and nature and is a self-described "gee whiz" birder. He has been an avid amateur photographer for over 20 years and amateur Nature Photographer for since 1995. His photos capture the essence of birds and animals in their natural environment. He and his wife Jerri, photograph in State Parks and National Wildlife Refuges along the Texas Gulf Coast and in Central New Mexico.

Background Information
Houston Audubon Nature Photography Association (HANPA) is an informal photo club open to all nature photographers, whether novice or pro, shooting film or digital. Meetings are held September through May on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Edith L. Moore Sanctuary headquarters library. Cost is $5.00 at the door.
