Bayou Buddies is an educational and fun class for young learners. Each week we explore a different native Texas animal or habitat. Starting with "A is for Ant", we'll work our way through the alphabet. Every class includes a natural history lesson, story, craft, snack, and outdoor activity. All children ages 3-5 are welcome. Parents may bring younger siblings as long as they watch over them. Classes will begin in September 2009 and run until May 2010.

  • Day: New this year, you may choose Friday morning or Friday afternoon sessions.
  • Times: Morning Session - 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM; Afternoon Session - 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
  • Ages: 3-5 year olds
  • Location: Sims Bayou Urban Nature Center

This is a popular class and spaces are limited so enroll today!

Registration: To register (28 classes; cost: $100), please use the Bayou Buddies Registration Form. In addition to the classes, the price includes a youth T-shirt, and graduation packet (cap, diploma, photo collage). Please note that you must register for the entire year.
