The Audubon Docent Guild offers hour-long guided tours of the 18-acre Edith L. Moore Nature sanctuary. Tours spend 40-45 minutes walking our wooded creekside trails and 15-20 minutes exploring our ponds with dip nets and aquariums.
Our tours are great for anyone four years old and up – preschool and elementary classes, Scout troops, garden clubs, church groups, etc. We’ll be glad to tailor tours to emphasize a class’s current unit on birds or a Brownie troop’s nature badge work, for example.
We give tours weekdays during school hours, after school, all day Saturday and on Sunday afternoons. (Reservations are necessary.) We ask a donation of $2.00 per person on the tour, unless this presents a financial hardship for your group.
