Graphic artist Linda Feltner picked a Louisiana Waterthrush for this year's patch. A common migrant through HAS's High Island sanctuaries. These warblers nest not far away in the woods of East Texas.
Graphic artist Linda Feltner has again donated her talents and time to Houston Audubon designing both this year's patch and the t-shirt. Linda has spent the last 24 years designing interpretive graphics for the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the US Forest Service (AK, AZ, CA, OR, WA), the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, and other state, municipal,
and private agencies, departments, museums, and organizations. Her scope includes interpretive planning and signage design, artwork, graphic design, camera-ready mechanicals, and coordination with manufacturers. For more information about Linda, visit her website.
The 2009 Patch will be available soon. To order a patch by mail, please send a check for $25.50 to the Houston Audubon Society, 440 Wilchester Blvd, Houston TX 77079.
