November 30 Update

For other reports of what is being seen in our area, please visit the Texbirds website. A full list of posted messages may be viewed in their archive area.

November 30 update: Typical birds of winter are being reported; Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Eastern Phoebe, Brown Thrasher, Hermit Thrush, Yellow-rumped Warbler, and Ruby-crowned Kinglet are among the winter visitors. Eastern Screech-Owls are also being found. Many areas are seeing higher than normal reports of Winter Wren, including Bear Creek Park, but so far it has not been found at Edith Moore Sanctuary. Birders are encouraged to post their sightings on eBird. Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary is an eBird hotspot.
