All workshops involve indoor and outdoor activities. Workshops are rain or shine. Girls should not wear sandals or flip flops. All workshops are held at the Sims Bayou Urban Nature Center, which is is a quaint facility on the southeast side of Houston. Indoor teaching areas include the log cabin or the bayou barn. There is a small nature gift shop and a play area for non-scout siblings that are accompanied by parents. Map
