Tskili, the Great Horned Owl

by Mary Anne Weber, Education Director

TskiliTskili was found on the side of a mountain road in Montana. Tskili is a wonderful teaching companion at Houston Audubon programs, and he is always the star on visits to schools and libraries. Although unable to fly, he hasn’t forgotten his wild side: Tskili hoots at night during the breeding season. Visit with him and the other education owls during the Owl Prowls, put on by the Audubon Docent Guild at the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary.

Please consider making a donation to our Adopt-A-Bird program so that we can continue to care for our education birds such as Tskili. In exchange for your generous help, you will receive a 5"x7" beautiful photo of your adopted bird and a special adoption certificate. (Please allow two weeks for processing.) Donations go toward food (lots of mice), upkeep of aviaries and vet check-ups. Thanks for your help.
